George H. Ragsdale
My great grandfathers name was
George H. Ragsdale. He lived in Iowa and served in the Civil War with the 13th
Iowa Volunteers. Although his education was limited he was appointed to West
Point by General Grant.
He did not make the grades and
returned to his unit.
